This course is designed to give the students the basic concepts of inorganic and organic chemistry. The organic chemistry section is aimed to learn students the different methods of synthesis and reactions of alkanes, alkenes and alkynes. The course is also through light on structural theory, chemical bonds and hybridization. This course is designed to give basic ideas on general inorganic chemistry that may be required by chemists in the course of their careers. Moreover, it develops in students the ability to apply their chemical knowledge and skills to the solution of theoretical problem.
