This course will introduce the students to the balanced and good nutrition which is necessary for the growth, development and maintenance of the dental and oral structures. Nutrition counseling is therefore, of paramount importance. Incorrect diet may lead to dental and oral diseases and may affects growth and development of dental and paradental structure.
